OCCURRENCE: summer nesting migrant.
CHARACTERS: head and back dark brown, white throat and belly.
FOOD: insects.
ECOLOGY AND BEHAVIOUR: terrestrial; colonial species, digs nests in hillsides or artificial barriers (the specimen in the photo took an abandoned nest of common house martin).
