CHARACTERISTICS: flattened body with yellowish to brownish coloration with two rows of dark spots
and three pairs of eyes and one sucking disk at both the anterior and posterior end of the body.
DEVELOPMENT: direct.
ECOLOGY AND BEHAVIOUR: lives in lakes and rivers, sometimes in high speed current zones; moves on the surface of substrate; feeds on small crustaceans, snails and other invertebrates.
