CHARACTERISTICS: brown and/or beige colouring; rough looking scales; round finger-tips possessing claws (specially well developed in 3rd and 4th fingers) and adhesive pads.
FOOD: invertebrates, namely flies, mosquitoes and moths.
ECOLOGY AND BEHAVIOUR: climbing ability; nocturnal activity; males vocalise and become territorial, in the mating season; one or two eggs laid under stones or in holes.
