CHARACTERISTICS: lower surface white (unlike Ramalina species) and upper one light green; apothecia extremely rare, soredia very frequent (white); typical species with ramifications that tend to be bifurcate and with a whitish glow.
NAME’S ORIGIN: Greek everne, flourishing.
