CHARACTERISTICS: light-brown or bright green with black blotches on the back; body sides with brown or black reticulate pattern; flattened head and pointed nose; protruding orbits.
FOOD: flies, mosquitoes, centipedes, spiders, ants, grasshoppers and beetles.
ECOLOGY AND BEHAVIOUR: terrestrial; seeks refuge in cracks and narrow holes in stones.
