CHARACTERISTICS: perennial bulbous herb; lance-shaped leaves in a basal rosette, light-pink petals with violet spots arranged in line, turning light-purple in the lateral parts.
ECOLOGY: shrublands, wet grasslands and abandoned fields; ruderal.
OBSERVATIONS: species protected by the Bern Convention.
