CHARACTERISTICS: annual herb; hairy green to reddish stems and sinuous leaves looking whitish; yellow flowers at the flower-heads’ center and pale-yellow in the margins.
ECOLOGY: dry sites, stony or sandy.
OBSERVATIONS: the peduncle of the flowers start from various points of the main stem, but the flowers end all at the same height.
