OCCURRENCE: breeding resident.
CHARACTERISTICS: evenly dark body with green reflexes; in winter presents white spots spread all over the body; brown juveniles.
FOOD: insects and berries.
ECOLOGY AND BEHAVIOUR: terrestrial; well adapted to urban environments; can group into large flocks of hundreds of individuals: nests in holes on cliff faces and buildings.
